Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith Deoghar

Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar, a residential boys' senior secondary school in Deoghar, Jharkhand, India, was founded in 1922. It is the earliest Ramakrishna Mission institute and was visited by Swami Vivekananda's brother disciples.

It is solely for boys and is associated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Admission to the Secondary Division is limited to standard VI students. However, a few students from other schools are admitted to class XI if spaces are available after giving priority to its own pupils who perform well in the class X Board exams. The school only offers science instruction in the Senior Secondary Section. The boys are admitted fully on the basis of their merit, which is determined by written, oral, and other assessments. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Deoghar was placed fourth among all CBSE schools in 2015 based on overall averages from Class XII CBSE exams. It was ranked first among all CBSE schools in India in 2020, according on the median aggregate score in the Class X test.

Emblem:

Swamiji developed the emblem of the Ramakrishna Order. The meaning of the emblem, in Vivekananda's own words: "The wavy waves in the painting represent Karma, the lotus of Bhakti, and the rising sun of Jnana. The surrounding serpent represents Yoga and awakened Kunadalini Shakti, while the swan in the artwork represents Paramatman. As a result, the image's ideal is that the vision of the Paramatman is attained through the union of Karma, Jnana, Bhakti, and Yoga.

The Universal Temple:

The Universal Temple of Sri Ramakrishna, located on the Vidyapith campus, is a popular destination for religious people. The resident lads lead morning and evening prayers (Aratrikam) as part of their regular practice. It hosts religious festivals, observances, and worship services.

The school has a huge site that is divided into two areas: the Main site and the Senior Secondary Campus. There are several attractive buildings on the school grounds. Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith is located in the center of Deoghar, Jharkhand, and is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in the country as Shiva's sacred home. It is an ancient city that contains a body part of Sati, the Divine Mother. The school is 30 minutes' drive from the Jasidih railway station.
