Sidhu and Kanhu Murmu led the Santhal uprising, which began in the 1850s with the intention of fighting both the British colonial authorities and the zamindar system. Located in the centre of the city, this park provides a welcome respite from the regular rush and bustle of daily life.
Sidhu & Kanhu Park also includes swing rides for youngsters and an open gym for adults. There is also a tiny train inside the park that you may ride for about Rs. 20.
