The Tagore Hill is located in Morabadi, Ranchi, Jharkhand. Tagore Hill is also known as Morabadi Hill. The sunrise and sunset views from the hilltop are among the most breathtaking.
The hilltop has a long history of association with the acclaimed poet and Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. After the death of his wife, Kadambari Devi, Rabindranath Tagore's elder brother Jyotirindranath Tagore came here in 1912. He constructed Shanti Dham, a residence, and Brahma Sthal, a monument. He passed away in 1925. The Ramakrishna Mission Ashram and the Divyayan and Agararian Vocational Institute are also housed on the site of this hill. It is a popular tourist destination in Jharkhand because of its connection to the great poet Rabindranath Tagore's elder brother.
